Practice Simulateneous Interpreting

Listen to patient and doctor speaking and pretend you are the interpreter and need to interpret simultaneously. How would you do it? Pay attention to what you struggle with and share in forum.

I tried to interpret him and I could handle most of the expressions, but some others were hard to express because of a few factors:

1. Expressions/words that I could understand, but didn't know how to express them back in Spanish.
2. I got lost because if you miss a key word or you don't know certain term, then you waste more and more seconds with thinking on it.

Interpreting is fast-paced, no time to think. The advantage of simultaneous interpreting is that you can transmit the main ideas without waiting for the speaker to finish. However, the disadvantage of this mode of interpretation is that you don't have a chance to ask for clarifications.
